Our Troop 623 was started in September 2012 by founding brothers Mark & Lance Feldman to fill a perceived need for a BSA Troop in the eastern Magnolia & Southern Montgomery areas. The number 623 was chosen as June 23 was the birthday of Mark & Lance’s father. In 2023, the Sponsor for Troop 623 transitioned from the Wildwood United Methodist Church in Magnolia, to The Church at Woodforest in Montgomery.
